The Daman Flute Quartet was formed in 2017 from the Tehran Flute Choir and has since focused on research and performance of works centered around Iranian music. The quartet has collaborated with various members and has continuously strived to present new perspectives on Iranian music through modern and experimental structures, utilizing four flutes.

Most of the pieces performed by the quartet are based on the compositions of Parviz Davoodi, a prominent Iranian composer. Parviz Davoodi is one of the pioneers of contemporary Iranian music, successfully bridging traditional Iranian musical elements with modern and experimental languages.
